William D. Keltner, Jackson, Tenn., began his Modern Woodmen career in 1984. He was named regional director in western Kentucky in 1989. He has served as director of Modern Woodmen’s western Tennessee and northern Mississippi region since 2003. He was appointed to Modern Woodmen’s Board of Directors in October 2009.

Keltner studied at the University of Tennessee and is a graduate of the Purdue University Professional Management Institute. He has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Leadership Fellow, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and Fraternal Insurance Counsellor designations.

His achievements at Modern Woodmen range from President’s Club, Managing Partner Inner Circle to Regional Director Inner Circle. His region is active fraternally and has won numerous awards.

He is the past president of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors and a current board member of the General Agents and Managers Association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Keltner and his wife, Bonita, have two children.
