To recognize the importance of family life and to promote strong family relationships, Modern Woodmen offers these programs.
At a Family Life Activity, a qualified speaker presents a program about some aspect of family life. Clergymen, family counselors, family court judges, psychiatrists, social workers, teachers, police officers, firefighters and other involved members of the community are frequently selected for this honor.
Modern Woodmen helps pay for the costs of the activity and provides a chance to win a free door prize.
Educational events are the Family Life counterpart for Summit Chapters and are tailored specifically for 55-plus Modern Woodmen members. These include programs on Medicare and Social Security; Long-Term Care; and Estate Planning.
