Children and adults across the country join hands to improve their communities and bridge the generation gap on this national day of volunteering, sponsored by Modern Woodmen and other fraternal benefit societies.

Join Hands Day is a great chance for chapter and club members to work together toward a common goal.

Popular projects include planting flowers, painting park benches and cleaning up trash.

Some groups get involved with more ambitious projects like building a playground or painting a building. Modern Woodmen contributes toward the costs of these projects.
