A.M. Best affirms Modern Woodmen's A+ rating

A.M. Best Company, Inc., an independent insurance industry rating agency, recently affirmed Modern Woodmen of America's financial strength rating.

The fraternal life insurance organization based in Rock Island received Best's A+ (Superior) rating, according to Best's Rating Monitor, a summary of Best's rating actions appearing in the BestWeek publication. Best's ratings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of an organization's balance sheet strength, operating performance and business profile. Insurers in the "superior" category are considered to have a very strong ability to meet their ongoing obligations.
