Duff and Phelps Credit Rating Company and A.M. Best, two independent life insurance industry rating agencies, recently reaffirmed Modern Woodmen of America's industry ratings.

The fraternal life insurance society based in Rock Island, Ill., received an AA rating from Duff and Phelps for its claims-paying ability. This rating, in the very high category, reflects the Society's superior asset quality and strong risk-adjusted capital position. Duff and Phelps also notes the outlook for the rating is stable.

A.M. Best affirmed Modern Woodmen's A+ (Superior) rating. Best's ratings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of a company's financial strength, operating performance and market profile.
