Jerry Harbaugh, Flat Rock, N.C., has served on Modern Woodmen of America’s seven-member board of directors since September 1999. Harbaugh began his public accounting career in 1966, earning his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1971. 

In 1998, he retired from McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, Davenport, Iowa, where he served as partner in charge of financial institutions. Harbaugh served as the partner responsible for the team conducting Modern Woodmen’s annual audits for 12 years.

He has served on the boards of the Eastern Iowa Community College District, the Scott Community College Foundation (Iowa), United Way of the Quad Cities and Junior Achievement of the Quad Cities.
