The sooner you set goals for contributing to your grandchild’s future, the more likely you’ll be able to reach those goals.


Communicate with your children and grandchildren

Coordinate your plans for your grandchildren with their parents. Find out what they need the most help with financially. Perhaps they have enough savings to pay for college but nothing leftover to pay for their wedding. It can relieve stress for them to know that you intend to help. Also, as your grandchildren grow older, talk to them to find out what their goals are, so you can make the best possible contribution towards their future.
