Member involvement: The funds provided to chapters and youth clubs are intended to support activities that bring members together for a shared purpose. This policy defines member involvement, which is one of the main guidelines for hosting activities.

National theme: The 2026 national fraternal theme is dedicated to uplifting schools, educators and students in communities nationwide. Members, chapters and regions will make a meaningful impact through hands-on service, donations and recognition of school staff.

National convention: In accordance with its bylaws, Modern Woodmen holds a National Convention every four years. Delegate elections start the February before the convention at chapter meetings. Elections continue through county/district conventions and conclude with state elections in May. Delegates elected at state elections serve at the National Convention.
