What could you do with $200?
Through the Do-Good Grant®, Modern Woodmen gives $200 in seed money to help members conduct a small, hands-on volunteer project with family and friends. Members choose the project and the local public or nonprofit organization that it will benefit.
Grant recipients receive a prepaid bank card to purchase supplies and materials.
Do I qualify?
To be eligible to apply for the Do-Good Grant®, you must be:
- Age 13 or older.
- A member with Modern Woodmen life insurance or annuity coverage. (The certificate must be in your own name and in good standing.)
Do-Good Grant® projects must be carried out independently of existing chapter or youth service club activities.
Limit of one grant per member household per year.
How to apply
- Log in to your online member account. This helps us verify your membership. (You can create an online account now if you don’t have one.)
- Navigate to Do-Good Grant® (under Member Programs) and complete the application form. You’ll need to share details about your anticipated project, including the theme, recipient and location. Your application must be submitted at least 30 days before the project start date to allow adequate time for processing.
Once your project is approved, you’ll receive a package in the mail with a $200 bank card and other items to help make your project successful.
Member households can apply for one grant each year. Limited quantities are awarded annually on a first-come, first-served basis.
Subject to change, fraternal member programs are not part of the contract and may have specific eligibility requirements. Some programs are not available to all members. Log in to your online member account for complete details.
